Julia Mokhovikova is a contemporary artist from Ukraine. Her paintings show the beauty of the world's chaos by putting the spotlight on objects of everyday life – newspapers or images on social media. Describing her style as neo-expressionistic, she uses energetic brushstrokes to depict wild animals, nudes and landscapes at sunset – usually juxtaposed with inscriptions and quotes – with oils and acrylics on canvas.
Her painting "Whale fairytale" reproduced on the proof is inspired by Ukrainian women suffering because of the war. "They are amazing and strong in face of the war," says Mokhovikova.
The money raised will be used to pay for transport, packaging, purchasing of food and medicine, and other operational costs associated with running the humanitarian activity of Friends of Ukraine.

FRIENDS OF UKRAINE
Friends of Ukraine is a volunteered initiative founded by Swiss health-tech startup Testasy. It provides meaningful support to Ukraine through medical services on the phone and essential supplies delivered directly on the ground.
With a network of over 500 volunteers, the charity also assists Ukrainians arriving in Switzerland via its refugee center and fosters parnerships between Ukrainian and Swiss hospitals.
